AI & data platform

A freelancer talent platform

A bespoke platform for a post-production talent agency — unifying scattered freelancer data into one searchable source of truth, with AI search and an agent that answers client briefs and drafts the reply.

Problem
Freelancer information lived in three disconnected places — website profiles, detailed Word CVs, and an Excel skills questionnaire. No single reliable view existed, so finding the right person for a brief meant trawling documents by hand.
Approach
I designed a canonical profile schema, then built a pipeline that merges all three sources into it — resolving conflicts and logging every decision. On top sits a platform with natural-language AI search, role-based access, one-click branded CVs, and a bespoke agent (on my nanoclaw framework) that answers client briefs against the live data and drafts the reply.
Outcome
One trusted, searchable source of truth. Staff find the right freelancer for a brief in seconds by asking in plain English — and the agent can take a query from search all the way to a ready-to-send draft.

The platform

An agent that answers client briefsDescribe the job in plain English and a bespoke agent searches the roster, shortlists the best-fit freelancers, and drafts a reply ready to send back to the client.
Search the whole roster in plain EnglishA natural-language request like “freelancers based in London” is turned into structured filters — role, software, location — to surface matching talent instantly.
Every profile, one consistent CVEach freelancer's merged record renders as a clean, on-brand CV — bio, software proficiencies and categorised credits — generated automatically and always up to date.

Screens shown use fully synthetic, illustrative data — no real freelancer information is shown.

Simon merged 150+ freelancers from four separate data sources into one consistent, searchable picture — over 600 records — with AI-first search on top. Knowledge that used to live in one person's head is now accessible to everyone, and answering a client brief has gone from an afternoon's digging to a couple of minutes.
